PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL element panel which can secure a bonding strength of an external connection electrode without increasing a cost and a process even if the length of an exposed electrode is short and therefore can make a frame narrower. SOLUTION: The organic EL element panel is provided with a first electrode 2 formed on a substrate 1, an organic light emitting layer 3, a second electrode 4, a protection membrane 5 to cover so that a portion of at lease either of the electrodes can be exposed, and an inclined portion 6 formed on a circumference of the protection membrane 5. An external connection electrode 8 is bonded straddling over an exposed portion 7 of the electrode and the inclined portion 6 of the protection membrane, and the electrode and the external connection electrode 8 are electrically connected.
