PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce rework man-hours due to design error. SOLUTION: This method for designing a three-dimensional model in which a screw hole is embedded in a sheet metal, includes: a process (step A2) for calculating the diameter of the screw hole according to input-designated screw diameter, screw length and sheet metal thickness; a process (step A3) for measuring a distance from the bent section of the three-dimensional model related with the sheet metal to the center of the screw hole according to the input-designated screw hole position and bent section; a process (step S4) for deciding whether or not the measured distance from the bent section to the center of the screw hole is equal to or more than a prescribed distance; and a process (step A7) for, when the distance from the bend section to the center of the screw hole is equal to or more than the prescribed distance (step S4: YES), embedding the three-dimensional model related with the screw hole corresponding to the calculated screw hole diameter in the input-designated screw hole position in the three-dimensional model related with the sheet metal.
