PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a straightening apparatus with which accurate straightening can be performed by raising the rigidity of the main body of a straightening machine. SOLUTION: A conveying truck 70 is arranged freely movably in a direction crossing the pass line PL on the downstream side of a material feeding direction of the main body 11 of a straightening machine 10. The conveying truck 70 is moved between a straightening position and a changing position which are separated in the crossing direction by a moving device 71. On the conveying truck 70, a plurality of guide rollers 72 which are aligned on the pass line PL when the truck is positioned in the straightening position are arranged and materials to be straightened are conveyed along the pass line PL with the guide rollers 72. Furthermore, on the conveying truck 70, a carrying-in/carrying-out cylinder 74 with which pulling-out and feeding-in of the straightening rolls 12, 13 to the main body 11 are performed in the direction along the pass line PL in such a state that the truck is positioned in the changing position is arranged.
