<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera capable of facilitating the operation to select captured images, even when continuous shooting is performed over a long time, while performing continuous shooting, without setting the time for continuous shooting, in advance. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided the camera, having an imaging unit which continuously captures the images of a subject at a predetermined frame rate; a continuous shooting time measurement unit which measures the time for which the imaging unit performs the continuous shooting; and an image deletion unit which thins out and deletes images by a number proportional to the time measured by the continuous shooting time measurement unit so that the number of images, left after the deletion, is equal to a previously set number. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
