<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the thickness of a polarizer and also surely stick the polarizer to a substrate. <P>SOLUTION: The polarizer 16 includes: a polarizer film 17 formed by stretching it in a uniaxial direction; a support layer 18 stacked on one surface side of the polarizer film 17 to support the polarizer film 17; and a sticking layer 19 provided on the other surface side of the polarizer film 17, wherein in the polarizer sticking process, with tension applied to the polarizer 16, the polarizer 16 is stuck to at least one of a pair of substrates 15. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
