<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power reception device of a power transmission apparatus, having good power transmission performance by defining the characteristics and the configuration of coils in the power transmission apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The power transmission apparatus 100 has a power transmission coil 1 and a power reception coil 2 which are provided oppositely to each other, and transmits power from a power transmission unit 30 to a power reception unit 40.
