<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner which is capable of performing the purification action of air reflecting the status at that time when the amount of dust floating in air turning increased temporarily from the decrement. <P>SOLUTION: The air conditioner is provided with a dust sensor 3 to detect the dust floating in air and to output the value in accordance with the detected amount of dust, a microcomputer 1 to conduct the equalization treatment of the value output from the dust sensor 3 between the predetermined time and to evaluate the dirtiness of air between the predetermined time from the equalized value, and a fan motor 2 by which the drive is controlled from the dirtiness of air. The detection sensitivity upon detecting the dust floating in air is switched by altering the time of the equalization treatment that is effected in the microcomputer 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
