PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology to produce a variety of composite images without increasing the kinds of material images. SOLUTION: A plurality of material images to obtain a composite image and Z-value data representing a context used to combine material images are stored in advance. The Z-value data contains a Z value assigned to each picture element and a context of material images is represented by the magnitudes of Z values. With this, different composite images can be obtained by changing the Z-value data of material images to be combined.
