PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain a high precision toner replenishing over a long period of time. SOLUTION: When toner in a toner bottle is replenished into a developing unit 5 by conveying to the developing unit by a powder pump 130 which is a uniaxial eccentric screw pump, a rotor 134 is driven in rotation at a constant rotational speed and at a constant rotational angle and the replenished amount of the toner to the developing unit is controlled by controlling the number of rotation units. Then, the rotational angle for the rotor in one rotation unit is set to be slightly shifted from an angle which is an integral multiple of 360°. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
