PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for decreasing radiation doses in a turbine system to reduce the transfer of the radionitrogen generated in a reactor pressure vessel to the turbine system and a nuclear power plant to which the method is applied. SOLUTION: In the method for decreasing the radiation dose in the turbine system, the transfer of the radionitrogen generated in the reactor pressure vessel 1 to the turbine system is reduced by injecting one or more agents reacting with nitride present in the cooling water to form salt from injection points 25a and 25b located in a feedwater system 3 and a reactor recirculation system 4 into the cooling water flowing through the reactor pressure vessel 1 of the nuclear power plant.
