PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wall surface decorative structure having an excellent appearance wherein a level difference and an unevenness in a joint part are made inconspicuous, while a following capability to displacement of a board and antipollution property are combined compatibly. SOLUTION: The wall surface decorative structure is composed in such a way that sealing material and/or putty material is filled in a joint part between dry boards adjacent to each other and a finishing coating material layer is formed over the dry board and the whole surface including the joint part. The finishing coating material layer is essentially based on a synthetic resin emulsion A of glass transition temperature below 30°C, a water dispersible silica B with a particle diameter of 1-200 mm, a fluorine containing compound C having polyfluoroalkyl group and a hydrophilic group having a nonion nature or both natures and an aggregate D with a particle diameter of 0.05-5.0 mm.
