PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishhook holder enabling easy attachment of a hook with a leader to a fishing tackle directing the hook in a prescribed direction. SOLUTION: The fishhook holder 1 has a base plate 2 which is provided with a hook-engaging part 4 and a hook-holding part 3, the curved part (gap) W of the hook t1 of the hook T with the leader is engaged with the hook-engaging part 4, and the shank G of the hook t1 is held at the holding part 3. When the leader t2 of the hook T attached to the hook holder 1 is inserted into an automatic leader-fixing part 12b of a fishing tackle 10, and the base plate 2 is pulled forward 2a by inserting a finger U into a finger hole of the holding part 5, an end of the leader t1 is pulled in an interlocked manner with the motion of the hook t1, engaged with the hook engaging part 4 of the base plate 2, and the hook t1 is clamped surely so that the point is directed in a prescribed direction.
