INK-JET RECORDING MEDIUM

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an ink-jet recording medium having high glossiness and excellent printing quality and excellent in operability.

SOLUTION: A coating solution for an ink receiving layer containing a pigment and a binder is applied to at least one side of a support body to provide a coating layer. An aqueous solution containing 0.01-1 mass% of cationic urethane resin is applied to the coating layer, and then the surface of the coating layer is brought into contact with a heated mirror-finished surface to form the ink receiving layer with gloss.
