PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for preventing a third person from performing transaction by impersonating a customer with a seal created from an imprint of a seal stolen from the customer. SOLUTION: This seal matching system is configured of a counter terminal 3 and an account information database server 2. An imprint of a seal with watermark composed of normal imprint of a seal and watermarked imprint of a seal is discriminated into registered imprint of a seal and registered watermarked imprint of a seal to be registered in an account information database server 2 so as to be associated with the identifier of the customer. The counter terminal 3 acquires the imprint of the seal with the watermark from the image data of the slip of a customer in transaction, and discriminates the acquired imprint of the seal with watermark into the normal imprint of the seal and the watermarked imprint of the seal, and acquires the registered imprint of the seal and the registered watermarked imprint of the seal from the account information database server based on the identifier of the customer, and displays the registered imprint of the seal/the imprint of the seal and the registered watermarked imprint of the seal/the watermarked imprint of the seal by overlapping them.
