PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control vehicles which rapidly and appropriately makes changes reflected in the road state on map data. SOLUTION: The vehicle control apparatus comprises map data stored in a storage medium and a current position identification means for identifying own vehicle current position, refers to the map data using the own vehicle current position, identified by the current position identification means, and performs a predefined vehicle control when the own vehicle is coming close to one of certain sites predetermined in the map data under a first access degree; and the vehicle control apparatus comprises a vehicle-condition acquiring means for acquiring the conditions of the own vehicle and delete the certain site from the map data, when the own vehicle comes close to one of certain sites predetermined, in the map data under a second access degree, when the own vehicle traveling condition acquired by the vehicle-condition acquiring means satisfies given conditions that are predetermined corresponding to the certain site.
