PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnet embedded rotor that achieves reduction of vibration noise while achieving reduction of cogging torque without reducing generated torque and maintains an oil level at a level exceeding the lower-limit level even in the range using high rotation, a motor, and a compressor. SOLUTION: The magnet embedded rotor is formed by embedding permanent magnets 16 into a rotor core 19 at prescribed intervals. The magnet embedded rotor has the following configuration. Notches 25 and first protrusions are formed to outer peripheral surfaces between salient poles, which correspond to the plurality of permanent magnets, in the rotor core. Non-magnetic parts for preventing magnetic-flux short circuiting are formed at both ends of each permanent magnet. A bridging part between the non-magnetic part and the notch is narrowed to such an extent that the bridging part is magnetically saturated. The circumferential width on the starting edge side of the first protrusion is formed larger than the circumferential width on the tip side, thereby forming the portion from the edge part of the first protrusion to the notch by gradually changing it with respect to a rotation direction of the rotor.
