PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear guide device having a retainer installation structure to a slider body excelling in productivity of the retainer and retainability of a rolling element. SOLUTION: First through-holes 45, 46 passing through along the width direction of the slider body 2 are formed in an intermediate retaining part 43. Second through-holes 24, 25 continued to the first through-holes and extending to the end surface of the slider body in the width direction are formed in the leg part 21 of the slider body 2. After the first and second through-holes are adjusted and the retainer 4 is arranged on the inner surface of the leg part 21 of the slider body 2, adhesive 6 is poured into the whole through-holes and hardened.
