PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in the conventional art wherein: operating pressure becomes approximately three times that of normal HFC refrigerant if carbon dioxide is used as working refrigerant to generate an excessive pressing force on a face where an end plate of a swirl scroll slides with an end plate of a fixed scroll; and if there is an alumite treatment layer on the sliding face in transitional operation where too much liquid refrigerant is returned in a system of a large capacity and multiple refrigerants, the alumite treatment layer high in abrasion resistance is separated from an aluminum part as base material, so that seizing may occur. SOLUTION: Processing of reforming a surface of the swirl scroll slid with the fixed scroll is performed, and a part of surface treatment layer of a lap end face of the swirl scroll is removed to be used as a basis material.
