PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint forming material having a function as a decoration material of the joint or the like, when a long construction panel to be used as an outer wall material of a building or a structure building is constructed. SOLUTION: The joint forming material A is formed of an engagement part 4 comprising a perpendicular tabular engagement surface 1, a side surface 2 wherein the upper end of the engagement surface 1 is bent and hung downward, and an engagement groove 3 formed of the engagement surface 1 and the side surface 2, and formed of a joint forming part 7 comprising an upper surface 5 wherein the lower end of the side surface 2 projects in the outside direction, and a lower surface 6 wherein the tip end of the upper surface 5 projects in the inside direction.
