PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clothes drying machine capable of preventing the execution of a useless clothes drying operation despite the intention of a user and preventing ignition of the clothes in a rotating drum. SOLUTION: When detecting that a door switch is turned off during the clothes drying operation and suspending the clothes drying operation, a controller of this clothes drying machine retains the suspension state of the clothes drying operation till detecting that a door of the rotating drum is closed by turn-on of the door switch, when detecting that the door of the rotating drum is closed by the turn-on of the door switch, starts a first timer in STEP 11, when a start/suspension switch is operated till the first timer reaches zero in STEP 14, restarts the clothes drying operation, and when the first timer reaches zero, branches to STEP 20 to execute a cooling operation.
