<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exercise assisting machine achieving the enhancement of safety. <P>SOLUTION: The exercise assisting machine is constituted by providing a left foot support stand 2a and a right foot support stand 2b, both of which have mount surfaces on which the left and right feet of a user are respectively placed, and a drive device 3, which respectively moves the left foot support stand 2a and the right foot support stand 2b, on a base plate (stand) and the load detection parts 5 for detecting the load applied to the mount surfaces are respectively provided to the left foot support stand 2a and the right foot support stand 2b. The drive device 3 has a determining part 39 for determining that the user is not present at a use position if the magnitude of the load detected by the respective load detection parts 5 is smaller than a predetermined threshold value, and stops the movement of the left foot support stand 2a and the right foot support stand 2b when it is determined that the user is not present at the use position by the determine part 39 when the left foot support stand 2a and the right foot support stand 2b are moved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
