<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk device for specifying how many relaxation oscillations of laser beams should be generated in the recording processing of recording mark length nT, and to provide a method of processing an optical disk. <P>SOLUTION: The optical disk device has: a light source section 20 for irradiating an optical disk D with laser beams; a drive section 29 for supplying a drive current to the light source section so that the light source section is irradiated with the laser beams of light pulses having relaxation oscillations; and a control section 31 for supplying the drive current of the drive section so that the laser beams of light pulses having (n-1)×N (N is an integer) relaxation oscillations should occur at the light source section to recording mark length nT (n: integer, T: channel clock) to be recorded on the optical disk. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
