<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cash register system capable of displaying an advertisement effective for awakening a purchase desire of a customer, on a display screen of the cash register. <P>SOLUTION: The cash register 1 transmits identification information indicating the customer under clearing in the present, to a host computer 8, the host computer 8 determines a corresponding storage area of a purchase article database 10, based on the received identification information, extracts an article of large purchase quantity out of the articles stored as article information in the storage area, reads out an advertisement data in response to the article from an advertisement database 13, and transmits the advertisement data to the corresponding cash register 1, and the cash register 1 displays the advertisement data on the first display screen 6, when receiving the advertisement data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
