<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust gas cleaning catalyst having high catalytic activity relative to a particulate in a diesel exhaust gas and heat-resistance, to provide an exhaust gas cleaning filter having high particulate capturing efficiency, and to provide a manufacturing method for the exhaust gas cleaning catalyst and the exhaust gas cleaning filter. <P>SOLUTION: The exhaust gas cleaning catalyst contains a metal oxide, a sulfate of alkali metal and silica, and a molar ratio of silica relative to the metal oxide and the sulfate of alkali metal is in a range of 0.1-6. A partition wall of a ternary structure body comprising a porous material is uniformly carried with the exhaust gas cleaning catalyst, and it is manufactured such that an average fine aperture diameter of fine apertures of the partition wall is 5-15 μm, a fine aperture volume of the fine aperture of less than 5 μm is 50% or less of the whole fine aperture volume, and the fine aperture volume of the fine aperture exceeding 15 μm becomes 10% or less of the whole fine aperture volume. Thereby, the exhaust gas cleaning filter having high catalytic activity, heat-resistance and the capturing efficiency can be obtained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
