PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricating oil composition reducing/delaying adhesion of engine deposits or corrosion in an engine part. SOLUTION: The lubricating oil composition comprises a base oil, a biodiesel fuel and a detergent. The detergent can be a metal phenate detergent such as alkaline earth metal phenates. The lubricating oil composition can further comprises at least one antiwear additive such as zinc dialkyl dithiophosphate compounds.
