PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor laser driving circuit reducing the fluctuation of the frequency chracterristics of output light caused by the temperature fluctuation of semiconductor laser. SOLUTION: In a semiconductor driving circuit 1 of shunt drive type that modulates the output light of semiconductor laser 5 by shunting bias current supplied to the semiconductor laser 5 by switching a first transistor 18 parallel-connected with the semiconductor laser 5, a second transistor 20 serially-connected with the first transistor 18 is arranged so that the shunted bias current may be led to the first transistor 18.
