PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine capable of suppressing a situation that a game ball is discharged from a ball tray against the will of a player while preventing the decline of ball discharge operability of the ball tray. SOLUTION: A ball discharge unit 611 capable of opening/closing the ball discharge port of a lower tray 15 includes a movable member capable of being displaced to a first position for closing the ball discharge port and a second position for opening the ball discharge port, urging means for urging the movable member to the side of the first position, and engaging means capable of holding the movable member at the second position. The game machine includes switching means for switching the state of the ball discharge unit 611 between the first state wherein the movable member can be held at the second position by the engaging means by displacing the movable member at the first position to the second position and the holding state of the movable member held at the second position can be released by a prescribed operation by the player and the second state wherein the movable member can not be held by the engaging means even when the movable member is displaced to the second position.
