PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To meltingly wash oil stains using steam without hardening white stain stuck to dishes, in a dishwasher/dryer having a steam generation means. SOLUTION: This dishwasher/dryer supplying steam to the inside of a washing tub 3 by a steam supply means 6 to wash dishes, includes lowering a steam temperature by a steam temperature lowering means 15 which lowers the temperature of the steam generated by the steam supply means 6, and then filling the inside of the washing tub with the steam.
