AROMATIC POLYCARBONATE RESIN COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a superior aromatic polycarbonate resin composition which has excellent hydrolysis resistance and which maintains transparency and molecular weight even under a high heat and humidity environment where conventional aromatic polycarbonate resin compositions have been difficult to use due to degradation of transparency and of strength properties attributed to reduced molecular weight. SOLUTION: The aromatic polycarbonate resin composition is a blend of (A) 100 pts.wt. of an aromatic polycarbonate prepared from an aromatic dihydroxy compound and a carbonic acid diester by a transesterification method and (B) 0.01-5 pts.wt. of a carbodiimide compound.
