The illumination circuit for an aircraft cabin has light emitting diodes (8,10,11) mounted on the cabin wall defining multiple lighting arrays (4-7) connected to outputs (2.1-2.3) from a control (1) which allows independent operation of the lights. The different diode arrays can be connected to different outputs oft he control. The light arrays can be connected electrically in parallel. The light arrays can have regulators (12-15) to adjust the current flow through the diodes.
