FIELD: medicine, stomatology. ^ SUBSTANCE: hard tooth tissues are exposed to optical radiation. Radiation source used is coherent laser beam of 0.81 mcm wavelength, which is directed to buccal or vestibular surface of hard tooth tissue, in cervical zone, 1 to 2 mm above gingival edge; hard tooth tissue colour being compensated beforehand in upper-third part of crown using coherent laser radiation of 0.81 mcm wavelength. If output signal obtained is above zero, dental pulp vitality is diagnosed. ^ EFFECT: possibility to detect dental pulp vitality on early stages of disease, increasing accuracy, reducing examination time, and facilitation of dental pulp vitality diagnostics. ^ 4 dwg, 1 ex |
