#CMT# #/CMT# The scalpel (10) has a knife (14) held at a holder (12) and a knife protection device (22) designed such that the scalpel is brought from a storage position to an operating position. The knife resides inside of a protection element (20) in the storage position. The protection element partially releases the knife in the operating position. The protection device defines a disposal position in which the knife and the element are locked relative to each other and are not brought in a mounting position and/or the operating position. The protection device and/or the holder are made of plastic. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Scapel. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The knife protection device defines the disposal position, in which the knife and the protection element are locked relative to each other and are not brought in the mounting position and/or the operating position, thus reducing the risk of injury when the scalpel is not in use. The scalpel allows the protection element to be stored at the holder in the movable manner, thus protecting blade of the scalpels. The scalpel allows the protection element and the holder to be connected with each other in a immovable manner, thus simplifying the assembly of the scalpels.
