<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce cost for an opening/closing device for vehicles by using an inexpensive output shaft or output member. <P>SOLUTION: The opening/closing device for vehicles has a drive unit provided with an electric motor and a reducer, and a drum 51 is fixed to the output shaft 36 of the drive unit through a power transmission member 61. The output shaft 36 has a main shaft part 62 and a small diameter shaft part 63 projected to the extremity of the main shaft part 62. A serration part 64 is provided at the outer periphery of the main shaft part 62. The power transmission member 61 has a whirl-stop part 67 provided with a fitting hole 66 in which the main shaft part 62 is inserted and a positioning part 69 provided with a small diameter hole 68 in which a small diameter shaft 63 is inserted. The whirl-stop part 67 is engaged with the serration part 64 in the fitting hole 66 and the positioning part 69 is pinched between a screw-connected nut 71 at the tip of the small diameter shaft 63 and the extremity of the main shaft 62 and the power transmission member 61 is fixed to the output shaft 36. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
