<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image generating system which can perform accurate hit checking and determination of intersection position with less processing load and to provide a program, and an information storage medium. <P>SOLUTION: The image generating system includes a rendering means 130 which carries out rendering of images acquired through viewing a first object and a second object by a virtual camera arranged at a given position, and an intersection detection means 120 which detects presence or absence of intersection based on presence or absence of drawing of the first object or the second object. It may also include a moving locus volume setting means 124 which generates a moving locus volume based on movement of the first object from a given time t to t+Δt and disposes it in the object space, and an intersection area detection means 122 which detects an intersection area of the moving locus volume and the second object based on at least one drawing area of the moving locus volume and the second object. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
