The car antenna has a deep-hollow area (2) which contains an opening (3), a floor-board (4) and a fitted hood (8). The base (4) has a circumferential seal (5) which is arranged on its edge. The hood (8) is pressed on the edge of the base on the seal and arranged with the surface-mounted condition of the vehicle antenna to the body part (1). An independent claim is included for a body part.
