The housing (1) has a thermosetting plastic body (2) for providing an intake air duct (3). An outlet connection (7) is combined with a support over a fixing device (11). The fixing device comprises a holding element, which encompass both an edge of the plastic body and an edge of the support, where the plastic body is provided as a base body. An edge of the plastic body has a recess for admission of a shoulder of the edge of the support. The edge of the plastic body has a plate-shaped extension, which rests on a plate-shaped extension of the edge of the support. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a compressor housing.
