The method involves receiving preconfiguration information over a long-range network. The information relates to the establishment of a local service session in a short-range wireless communications network. The local service session in the short-range wireless communications network is established using the received preconfiguration information. A request for the information is send over the long range network. An independent claim is also included for a wireless communications device.
