<p>The braking system has brake controls (1,2), where the number of the brake controls is less than the number of coaches but equals to two. The operative connections and the number of operative connections are selected, such that each operative connection goes out from a brake control and extends up to a brake actuator. Multiple external operative connections are provided for each brake control, which go out from another brake control. The total brake force of the brake actuators, which are linked to the external operative connections, is larger or equal to a minimum braking force. An independent claim is included for a method for decelerating a rail vehicle.</p> |
