FIELD: medicine. ^ SUBSTANCE: bleeding presence is detected, by blood flow visualisation through puncture channel in Doppler energy mapping. Intensity evaluation is conducted using Doppler pulse spectrography of flow. Subject to spectrogram pattern, type of bleeding is identified: arterial, venous, or mixed. Linear and volume flow speed are measured several times with 5-10 second intervals. Judging by its dynamics, thrombosis process is observed, and measures for bleeding arrest are foreseen, if necessary. ^ EFFECT: method allows revealing blood flow through puncture channel, and provides opportunity of early haemostasis measures; reduces risk of post-puncture haemorrhagic complications. ^ 1 ex, 1 dwg |
