An airbag cover to be mounted on a vehicle includes a housing case for housing a passenger airbag; an airbag-cover body portion extending along a surface facing an occupant in a passenger seat; a tear line formed in the airbag-cover body portion for rupturing the airbag cover; and a plate-shaped developing door partitioned by the tear line in the airbag-cover body portion to be ruptured and developed at the tear line by being pressed by a developing-and-expanding load of the passenger airbag. The plate-shaped developing door further includes a first developing portion with standing portions, and a second developing portion attached to the case. A contacting area is formed between the standing portions and the second developing portion for vibration welding to thereby connect the first developing portion and the second developing portion. |
