A device (1) for holding a face milling machine at right angles to an imaginary axis of rotation (3) of a brake disc (4) for face milling the brake disc (4) present on a vehicle comprises a support (9) supporting the face milling machine, and a coupling section (5) which is detachably connected to a hub (7) of the brake disc (4). The device further has means (11) for holding the suport (9) at right angles to the axis of rotation (3). These means comprise a hinge construction (13) according to the spherical hinge principle. The device (1) is provided with adjusting means (19) for adjusting the support (9) at right angles to the axis of rotation (3). The adjusting means (19) comprise operating means (27) which are substantially stationary relative to the firm object and comprise turning means (29) for turning the support (9) and the coupling section (5) relative to each other, while the turning means rest against the support and the coupling section and not against the firm object. |
