The container (15) has vertical pivoting posts (24) articulated with respect to a rectangular horizontal flat base (17) of a lower decking (16) around a fixed horizontal rotational axle (25). Each post is co-operated with actuating units that rotate the post around the axle to assure controlled lateral displacement of horizontal yokes of a lift truck, where the units are formed of a pin (28), a transmission rod (29) and a pivot (30). The yokes are slid transversally in a direction to space or bring closer bearing tunnels (20, 21) with respect to a vertical median plane of the decking.
