The headlight (1) has an elliptical reflector (2) provided with an internal focus (F1) and an external focus (F2) and associated to a movable light shield (5). A main light source (3) i.e. illuminating lamp, is placed at the focus (F1). The shield has an integrated optical device (8) at its end defining a cutting edge (7), where the device reflects a secondary light beam formed by a portion of main light beam from the source via the reflector (2) to assure a dipped beam. The secondary beam illuminates an offset zone (9) of the reflector to create a distinct and determined light sign.
