The upper (1) has an overlap connection (4) connecting an elastically deformable part (3) with rest of a vamp (2) and/or the upper. The part made of deformable material is internally covered by a contention coating e.g. lined fabric such as resin fabric. The coating is made of elastic material whose elasticity is less than that of the part so as to form an elastically deformable zone (6) in a non covered zone based on morphology of an upper foot. The coating stops/limits the deformation of the part in the covered zones, and is integrated to an internal surface of the piece via gluing.
