Described herein is a robotized gear change for motor vehicles, and in particular motor vehicles for disabled persons, configured for implementing a plurality of operating modes that can be selected by the driver via a manually operable or foot-operable selection device, in which first operating modes associated to the automatic gear-change mode (DRIVE, NEUTRAL, REVERSE, PARKING) can be selected when the vehicle is stationary and a brake pedal (5) is depressed, whereas second operating modes corresponding to the level of performance of the engine desired by the driver (ECONOMY, SPORT) can be selected when the vehicle is moving.
Preferably, the selection device (4b) is linearly mobile along a first axis (V) and angularly mobile about a second axis (H) transverse to the first axis (V).
