PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic converter which enhances magnetic energy to be exerted upon a voice coil by forming a magnetic flux route in an upper-side portion of a pole piece to induce a magnetic flux. SOLUTION: An electromagnetic converter includes: a pole piece 2 with a recess substantially in a downward conical shape on a top face thereof; a permanent magnet 4, with a negative magnetic pole in contact with the pole piece 2, including a gap between another magnetic pole and the pole piece; and a voice coil 5 which is disposed in the gap to vibrate a diaphragm 8 in response to an audio signal current that flows into the voice coil itself, and an auxiliary cap 11 that induces a magnetic flux to the gap, is mounted in the recess of the pole piece 2.
