PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water jet propulsion boat which reduces power consumption of a battery, provides miniaturization and a long life of the battery, and also reduces costs. SOLUTION: The water jet propulsion boat 10 is provided with a fuel pump 33 and a fuel-pressure sensor 35. The fuel pump 33 driven by the control of an electric controller 40 supplies the fuel in a fuel tank 20 to an engine 14 through a fuel piping 38. The fuel-pressure sensor 35 detects the pressure of the fuel supplied to the engine 14 by the drive of the fuel pump 33. When the value of the fuel pressure detected by the fuel-pressure sensor 35 is smaller than a set value, the fuel pump 33 is driven. When the value of the fuel pressure detected by the fuel-pressure sensor 35 is greater than or equal to a set value, the drive of the fuel pump 33 stops. When the value of the fuel pressure detected by the fuel-pressure sensor 35 becomes smaller than or equal to an abnormal threshold value, the drive of both the fuel pump 33 and the engine 14, or either of the two stops.
