PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of more certainly suppressing malfunction such as seizure on a sliding surface while further reducing workload on an ECU even if lubricating oil in an internal combustion engine is diluted with injected fuel. SOLUTION: This control system includes an output improvement mechanism improving the output of the internal combustion engine based on a mechanistic operation. When a degree of oil dilution in the internal combustion engine is higher than a threshold (step S102), operation to improve the output of the internal combustion engine by the output improvement mechanism is stopped (step S104).
