PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and efficiently carry out manufacturing and shape correction of a pump impeller having blades composed by joining split blade pieces at low cost. SOLUTION: In the pump impeller having a hub 2 and a plurality of the blades 3 mounted to the hub 2, at least one blade of a plurality of the blades 3 is composed by being split into a plurality of areas 10, 20, 20 by splitting lines 11, 21 extending from a base point on a hub 2 side of the blades 3 to a terminal point on the opposite side of the hub side. Length of a side on the hub 2 side in the first split area 10 seen from a front edge of the blade 3 is made to be longer than length of a side on the opposite side of the hub 2 side, which makes bending of the splitting line 11 smaller.
