PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce weight of the whole engine by reducing weight of an oil strainer body. SOLUTION: In the oil strainer 57 for passing oil 9 when an oil pump device 8 sucks up the oil 9 in an oil pan 11 and supplies the oil to respective parts of an engine body 3, a first recess 31 having an outlet 33 communicating with a suction passage 25 on an inner surface of a housing 7 of the oil pump device 8 is formed on an outer surface of the housing 7 of the oil pump device 8. A first half body 35 composed at a formation position of the first recess 31 and a second half body 39 mounted to the first half body 35 to cover the first recess 31, having an inlet 49 which the oil 9 enters from the oil pan 11, and formed with a second recess 41 facing to the first recess 31, form an oil flow passage 47 inside.
